Inverted Asanas

     The poses in this group help to encourage the flow of blood to the brain nourishing it while flushing out toxins. The pituitary gland also receives enriched blood allow it to operate more efficiently, which as a positive effect on the entire endocrine system.

     While we preform the Asanas in this group, blood that has accumulated in the lower limbs is allowed to drain back to lungs to be oxygenated, the heart to be recirculated and the liver to be cleaned. Besides the health effects from group of Asanas, they can also be used to transform sexually energy to spiritual energy.

     This group of Asana should be preformed correctly and with the up most care, please preform each Asana slowly.

 


Duration

  • Beginners should hold the Asana for a few seconds and when the Asana can be preformed with ease, the duration can be extended to recommended time.

     

    Precautions with Inverted Asanas

  • Practice on an empty stomach or three hours after eating.

  • Do not practice with or after a vigorous exercise.

  • Do not practice if you have high blood pressure, any heart related issue, slipped disk, neck issues, arteriosclerosis, glaucoma, active ear infection, impure blood, any brain disease, during pregnancy, recovering from surgery, inflammatory conditions and the elderly.
